Google Announces Changes in the AdWords Service

changes

Google AdWords may the main service being offered by Google. Though Google is heavily involved in other technology markets, AdWords is said to be where this big company gets the most revenues from. The search engine optimization market has been broadening the past few years and Google is certainly one of its main driving forces.

Just recently, Google updated their AdWords service and implemented some changes that would result in more efficiency and profitability for its users. Google has announced that it will be integrating the reporting tab of this service directly in the AdWords’ interface. Little by little, the developers at Google will be eliminating the reporting tabs but it assures its users that the reporting function in their AdWords accounts will still be present and much easier to do.

The series of actions Google would do to implement this would be as follows:

  1. Report Center: From the Report Center, Google will move the key elements of every report to the “Campaigns” tab.
  2. Campaign Tab: Whenever a report appears, users will now be able to find it in the Campaigns tab instead of the Reports tab. Google will simultaneously remove the option to create these reports in the Reports center.
  3. Backup Reports: These report types will still be running as usual, though they can now be found in the Campaigns tab. Users need not worry about certain reports missing or disappearing from their AdWords accounts. As an added safety measure, Google will be saving a backup of your reports that can be found in your Control Panel and Library. You can opt to delete these back-up reports once who get the gist of the new AdWords interface.
  4. No More Reports Tab: After all of the reports have been moved and you have accustomed yourself to this new scheme, Google will then eliminate the whole Reports section/tab entirely.
  5. Ease of Reporting: You can then proceed and generate reports at the Campaigns section of your AdWords account. The changes that Google will make are only applicable for those who manage individual accounts in Google AdWords. My Client Center reports and reports for TV ads will still function like before.
